BOSTON, MA — Kindred Hospital graciously opened their doors to 20 employees of The Home working in 10 programs that provide meal services.  Their Food Service Director, Tina Reilly and Anne Hemmer, a Registered Dietitian working with Head Start programs, led a half day Nutrition Training looking at What is Healthy Eating AND What The Home Can Do To Encourage Healthy Eating with the families and young people in its care.  Employees left with a better understanding of developmental eating behaviors, proper portion control, cultural messages around food, and the social/emotional aspects of eating... just to mention a few. The Home is committed to doing their best to care for the nutritional needs of the young people in its care.
