Celebrate the Imaginative Spirit of Children Year-round

Child artists create 2009 calendar to support The Home for Little Wanderers

BOSTON, MA — The Home for Little Wanderers announced today that it’s 2009 charity calendar, featuring artwork from children in several of The Home’s programs, is now available to purchase for $7.50—half off its original price! All proceeds will benefit children at risk and their families in The Home’s 20 programs throughout Boston and Eastern Massachusetts.

From July’s "Independence Celebration" by 14-year-old Austin to December’s "Winter Wonderland" by 11-year-old Lynnette, this colorful and vibrant calendar celebrates the imaginative spirit of children and is sure to brighten up anyone’s day!

With a history dating back to 1799, The Home for Little Wanderers is the oldest child welfare agency in the nation and one of largest in New England. Today, The Home offers far more than a refuge for the abused and neglected. It supports thousands of children and families each year, providing necessary resources to keep families together, or safe havens for children when that is not possible.
