Talking About Community Violence

The Home hosts Community Violence Awareness Panel Discussion

BOSTON — The Home for Little Wanderers’ Safe-At-Home program is co-sponsoring "Community Violence: An Awareness Panel Discussion" on Friday, May 2, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The discussion, which is free and open to the public, will be held at The Home’s Knight Children’s Center, 161 South Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain. Panelists include Anisha Chablani, Director Deputy of ROCA; Tina Chery, Founder, Louis D. Brown Peace Institute; Emmitt Folgert, Program Director of Dorchester Youth Collaborative; Phil Hindin, West Roxbury DYS Director; Michael Saunders, BCYF Streetworker Program Manager; and David Tavares, Director of the YMCA Emergency Family Shelter.
