New raffle helps The Home for Little Wanderers

BOSTON — The weather is calling for more snow and cold weather. As you watch another depressing forecast, you start dreaming of a warm spring and cruising around town in a convertible with the top down…the problem is…you don’t have one. But you could!

The Home for Little Wanderers has launched its first "Reach for the Sky!" Saturn Sky Car Raffle. Take your chance to win this fully-loaded, turbocharged Saturn Sky Red Line, which was donated by the Saturn Retailers of New England. Only 2,500 tickets are available at $100 each through March 1^st.

And, some well-known names in Boston have teamed up with The Home to spread the word about this "car for a cause." Breast cancer researcher and survivor Dr. Carolyn Kaelin was photographed cruising around Castle Island in a Saturn Sky with Red Sox wife Stacey Lucchino for the "Reach for the Sky!" billboard campaign.

"Having seen all of the services The Home provides to thousands of children and families each year, and because we’re both mothers, Stacey and I were honored when we were asked to help raise awareness," said Kaelin.

The Home for Little Wanderers is one of New England’s oldest and largest child and family services agencies. All proceeds from the "Reach for the Sky!" raffle will be used to support The Home’s 20 programs throughout Eastern Massachusetts.
