Tragedies of child abuse and neglect explored through artwork

What: Syracuse-based artist, Mary Giehl will explore the tragedies of child abuse and neglect through her artwork on Tuesday, July 24th. The artist will place sculptures of children, at six bus stops throughout the city of Boston. People are invited to “adopt” the Bus Stop Children, made of wax, metal and muslin and take them home. Mary’s Bus Stop Children are meant to alarm, invoke feelings of compassion and open dialogue within our community.
