Barbara and Steve Grossman Honored at Voices & Visions

Grossman's recognized for life-long commitment to the community

What: The Home for Little Wanderers (The Home) invites you to celebrate the imaginative spirit of our children at our annual Voice and Visions gala at the Westin Boston Waterfront. This unique fundraiser features a powerful exhibit of visual arts and creative writing, expressing the children’s “voices and visions,” including their hopes and dreams of a brighter future. Each year this event is a sell out so people are advised to purchase their tickets early. Individual tickets cost $250.

Special guests include Barbara and Steve Grossman, who will be honored for their appreciation of the arts and their life-long commitment to the community.

Barbara Grossman, Presidential appointee to the National Council on the Arts, is also Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Drama and Dance at Tufts University. Steve Grossman is a 2002 gubernatorial candidate and former Chair of the Democratic National Committee. He is the President of Grossman Marketing Group.

Voices & Visions is a culmination of a year-long innovative arts program at Knight Children’s Center (KCC), The Home’s residential and special education program for children ages 5 to 13 years old. KCC is located in Jamaica Plain.
