Fashion Show and Reception to Benefit The Home

Boston-based Denise Hajjar to debut her Spring/Summer 2007 collection

Boston, Massachusetts — Boston-based Denise Hajjar will debut her Spring/Summer 2007 collection with a fashion show and reception to benefit The Home For Little Wanderers. This will be the second show hosted by the acclaimed designer since the opening of her boutique, Denise Hajjar-Boston, in the lobby of the Fairmont Copley Plaza.

The event will be on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 in the Grand Ballroom of the Fairmont Copley Plaza, 138 St. James Avenue in Boston. It begins at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception and will be followed by a brief program, fashion show and live auction at 8:00 p.m. WCVB-TV’s Susan Wornick will be the evening’s emcee. The Spring/Summer collection will comprise of day and eveningwear. Each piece will feature Ms Hajjar’s signature combination of rich and unusual fabrics and impeccable attention to details and cut, which creates clothes that are fresh and contemporary with long lasting appeal. Ready-to-wear pieces from the collection will be available in the Denise Hajjar-Boston boutique, and Ms Hajjar will also do custom designs upon request.

Denise Hajjar has been a leader in Boston’s fashion scene for the last 25 years, helping to raise millions for local and national charities. She is the designer-in-residence at the Fairmont Copley Plaza and has been outfitting local media personalities and celebrities for more than 25 years.
