Matthew Small 
Senior Vice president of Program Operations

Between 1994 to 2001 worked as a caseworker in a Boston based emergency placement classroom, taught teenagers from Boston based private organizations and Department of Youth Services how to ride minibikes, and as a caseworker with the Boston Police in South Boston District C and Gang Unit.

Between 2001 and 2013 worked in Maine as a Senior Intensive Care Coordinator, Residential Program Clinician/Director, Director of Residential and Community Based Clinical Services, and finally COO of Harbor Family Services for 8 years.

Joined the Home in December 2013 as Senior Director of Community Based Services/Behavioral Health and then became Sr. Vice President of Program Operations in January of 2018.

I am a Boston native, attending Boston Public Schools 1-12, received BA from Bridgewater State University and later graduated from the Urban Leadership Program of Simmons College with a Master’s degree in Social Work.
