The Home operates The Boston-Suffolk County Family Resource, which is part of a state-wide network of Family Resource Centers. Family Resource Centers (FRCs) provide services to strengthen families by connecting them to resources within their own communities and offers innovative programming. In addition to assisting families with finding resources, the FRCs support families with youth who are at risk of needing court involvement (Child Requiring Assistance – CRA) through the opening of a Child Requiring Assistance (CRA) case.

The Boston-Suffolk County FRC primarily serves families from Boston, Chelsea, Winthrop, and Revere, however families can receive services from any FRC of their choosing in the Commonwealth. Engagement with the FRC is individualized, flexible, and member-driven. To get started, families or providers can call, email, or complete the online referral form. Everyone is welcome at the FRC! There are no minimum eligibility requirements or costs associated with the program. Once contact is established the FRC, a short intake will be scheduled, during which the individual or family’s needs will be assessed and a plan for next steps will be established. The FRC offers an array of services provided by experienced and knowledgeable staff. Learn more about the services offered below.
