Leadership Circle of Hope

The Leadership Circle of Hope is a group of concerned and generous individuals who provide philanthropic leadership for The Home's vital work with children at risk. The Leadership Circle of Hope recognizes individuals and families who give $1,000 or more to The Home within a given fiscal year.

Cornerstone Society

The Cornerstone Society was founded by The Home in 2005 to honor benefactors who have supported our work with children and families for twenty years or more. To date, The Home has over 1,700 individuals and organizations who are members of this esteemed society. Members of the Cornerstone Society are invited once a year for a celebratory luncheon with representatives of The Home’s senior staff and Board of Directors to recognize their enduring generosity. Many of the children in our care have lacked any kind of consistency in their young lives; knowing there are caring people on whom they can depend year after year gives them a much needed sense of stability and The Home pays tribute to that contribution through the Cornerstone Society.

Legacy Circle

Established in 2004, the Legacy Circle honors those friends who have included The Home in their will. Their vision and enduring commitment ensure The Home’s effectiveness for coming generations. A bequest creates a perpetual link between the donor and The Home and is a testament to the donor’s passion to better the lives of the vulnerable children and families in our care.

A bequest may be in the form of a percentage of the donor’s estate, a specific dollar amount, the residual of the estate, or a piece of personal, tangible property. Charitable bequests can be planned when a new will is created; or they can be added to an existing will. Estate planning can also result in a significant reduction in gift and estate tax.

All realized bequests are placed in The Home’s endowment fund. Thus, through their foresight and generosity, Legacy Circle members are securing the future of our programs. As we have for more than 200 years, we can continue to deliver consistently high-quality programs to serve the ever-changing needs of the children in our care.
