Why Give to The Home?
Children come to The Home for so many different reasons, but almost all of them are facing tough situations that threaten their well-being.
There is ever-increasing competition for public dollars and all too often services for children and youth at risk seem to bear the brunt of cuts. While government funding covers most of the essential services we provide, we need to do so much more to ensure these kids get a fair shot at being prepared to lead meaningful and productive lives.
Your generosity allows us to provide the "extras" that most children and families take for granted. For example, we can ensure there are enough gifts to go around in the holiday season, serve the traditional Thanksgiving turkey feast to the children in our residential facilities, send some to summer camp, fill backpacks with school supplies and put warm clothes in their closets. All of this is directly attributable to individuals and organizations who believe, as we do, that children need to know people care about them.

The Home understands the importance of letting our supporters know how we spend their money. We strive to keep non-program costs at a minimum while maximizing the impact of contributions on programs.
