The Home hosted the first ever Women of Color conference to engage Boston’s most influential women working with children and families living in at-risk circumstances. The conference took place at Wellesley College and was sponsored by The Home's Staff of Color Affinity and co-sponsored by the Wellesley Centers for Women. The inspirational day was born out of the Young Men of Color conference The Home began four years ago. The day consisted of influential, female speakers such as, the keynote speaker, Reverend Liz Walker and, workshop speakers, Drs.
