How to Get Started
All potential volunteers are invited to join us for an upcoming Volunteer Orientation. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the agency and the specific volunteer positions available within each program. For individuals looking to work directly with children, attendance at an orientation is required.
Please note, the minimum age for volunteering with children at The Home is 18 years old. Visit FUNdraising Ideas for Kids to see other ways that kids and teens can help support The Home.
Upcoming Volunteer Orientations
Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 6-7 p.m.
Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 6-7 p.m.
At the Volunteer Orientation, you will be given an application and three reference forms to complete and mail in prior to your interview with the Director of Volunteer & Community Outreach. Any questions you may have will be answered at this event. We look forward to meeting you there.
