ROXBURY VILLAGE

Roxbury Village provides transitional housing (up to 18 months) for up to nine homeless youth aged 18–22. Each young adult is provided an individual bedroom and shared access to full apartment amenities including a kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities.

Additionally, the staff offers intensive services to help prepare young adults to living independently. These include:

      • Physical, emotional, and psychological wellness
      • Employment services
      • Educational support
      • Life skills
      • Access to health services
      • Positive and appropriate peer relationships
      • Access to The Home’s YARN program

Young adults at Roxbury Village must demonstrate appropriate progress toward achieving self-sufficiency by being enrolled in school and/or being employed full time. Case managers assist the transition to permanent housing, and the program continues to offer post-discharge support.
